What’s on the table, exactly?

First and foremost, games. Games are on the table. When games are on the table, it means people are sitting together and sharing moments, creating memories. It’s why we play, and (now) make, games.

The typical business model is also on the table. The game industry has moved the risk from the publisher to the consumer via crowdfunding models. Crowdfunding also tends to prioritize visuals and bits of plastic over gameplay and fun. This has lead to larger and more expensive games, and in at least one person’s opinion, In order to have games on the table, the game first needs to be affordable. We don’t ever want price to be a barrier to playing one of our games. It’s why we are going to launch each of our games using a pay what you want model.
